Being from near Lincoln MT we have been eating High County (all styles) for well over 25 years. We've always liked their products but were very dissatisfied with the quality of their product today!

3 pieces of jerky per bag. Really!!!

For many, many years, and as Montanans, we have loved HiCountry’s jerky. We have bought it as Christmas presents for all those years (20 or more). But something has happened to it. The company got bought out, or somebody decided the sizing needed to be reduced substantially with no like reduction in price, or demand is down so cost cutting is ruling and ruining the product. Not sure we can or will continue to support this “local” company any more. Something changed, and it was not for the better.
